Introduction

LogTag® products are used world-wide to monitor temperature and humidity sensitive data during transport.

Typically, LogTag® products are configured, placed with cargo that requires monitoring and downloaded once the goods receive their intended destination. Environmental data can then be assessed and informed decisions can be made about the transport conditions during the shipment.

LogTag® Cold Chain Analyzer is the web based companion application that allows the capture, management, storage and analysis of data associated with these shipments, with emphasis on environmental data management. The system is designed to:

  • create basic shipping related logistics information,

  • configure LogTag® temperature or humidity recorders accompanying those shipments,

  • download the recorders upon arrival and store their environmental data,

  • correlate logistics and environmental shipment data and

  • allow subsequent detailed transit data analysis.

This will allow logistics managers, dispatch clerks, receiving agents and other stakeholders to gain a broad overview of all stages and aspects of the cold chain and provide vital information for decision making in relation to product quality at the destination.

This guide will take you through the relevant steps to successfully use the LogTag® products.

You will learn how to:

  • access LogTag® Cold Chain Analyzer,
  • set up shipments,
  • configure LogTag® products for recording,
  • retrieve the recorded readings and
  • display and analyse the data.

System Administrators will also find information on how to configure LogTag® Cold Chain Analyzer, how to set up branches and profiles and how to administer users of the system.
