Inspections

Using LogTag® Online in regulated environments may require you to inspect the recorded temperatures regularly, possibly even once or twice daily.

Typically, inspections are performed directly on the logger by pressing the “REVIEW/MARK” button, which records an inspection mark in the logged data.

If the team administrator has allowed Remote Inspection, you can also place this mark from LogTag® Online without the need to visit the logger's physical location.

View the temperature log for the location who's logger you wish to inspect. Click on the calendar entry for today. In this example the last reported temperature for the logger was reported in the afternoon, while the morning inspection already took place.

Click the green tick icon. The last recorded value will now be the inspected value for the afternoon (PM).

Instant Inspection Completed

If your team administrator has allowed Overdue Inspections, you can record the AM and PM inspections even if the day for which you wish to place the mark is already in the past. In this case, the last recorded reading in the morning (pre midday) and the last recording for the day (pre-midnight) will be used as the inspected reading.

Remotely inspected overdue readings will be marked in the reports. Some applications do not allow remote inspection and require inspections to be performed on the device. In this case, your team administrator will have disallowed Remote Inspections and you will not see a tick icon.
