Activation Codes
Free LogTag® Online accounts are subject to certain restrictions, which you can view when you select the free account during first sign-in or via your My Account settings. For example, you can only have one single location, you cannot invite team members to your account and yo can store a maximum of 100 data logger files.
To add extra functionality you will need Activation codes.
- Activation codes allow you to add more locations. The number of locations added by a single code can vary, depending on the code (Some loggers come with a free one-year activation code, so you can generate a new location immediately)
- Activation codes allow you to add members to your team. Users with a free account cannot add additional team members.
- Activation codes increase your team's ability to store logger data files.
You can purchase these codes from your LogTag® sales partner. These codes are added in the Edit Team window. Click Manage Team from the menu and click Edit Team.
Typically you will receive the activation code in an email. Copy the code and paste it into the Activation Code field. Click Save Changes. Your additional features are available immediately.
The following table shows the available locations, team sizes, and storage limits for each tier.

You do not have to add all locations immediately. If you start as a Small team with 2 locations, then add 3 more later for a total of 5 locations, your team will be automatically upgraded to the Medium tier with an increased number of files available for storage.
