Locations

Location is the term used by LogTag® Online to describe a collection of data, ancillary information and actions associated with a physical place where temperature or humidity data are measured and monitored. A location contains:

  • Information about the logger currently uploading data to this location
  • Historic and current temperature data (and possibly humidity data) collected from loggers associated with this location
  • A list of members in your team who are responsible for monitoring the data
  • Information about who in your team is notified and how, should certain events occur

Each location can only be associated with one logger at any one time, but can show all temperature data for each logger that was ever attached to the location in the past.

If you do not attach a logger to a location, any files sent to LogTag® Online from this logger will be stored as an LTD file in the Drive section of LogTag® Online.

Locations are accessed via the Locations icon in the navigation bar.
