Inviting Others to Join Your Team

You can invite other users to your team in the Manage Team window. This is accessed by clicking Manage Team from the menu.

Inviting Others

    Here you will see a list of all users that are already a member of your team. Users can be assigned different roles, depending on which tasks they are allowed to perform.

  • Inviting others

    To invite other users to your team, enter their email address, their proposed role and click Invite. They will receive an email inviting them to join your team. Any user who has not yet accepted your invitation is listed as a Pending Invite.

The invited users now need to accept their invitations before they can see the team's data.

User Roles

  • Owner

    If you are a Team Owner, you can do everything the system allows, including managing and editing the team and promoting users to administrators. It also denotes you as the person responsible for billing or any queries LogTag® Recorders may have regarding your account.

    You cannot, however, transfer your role as the owner to someone else. There is only ever one single owner of a team.

  • Administrator

    If you are a team administrator you can invite other users, but you cannot make them administrators. You cannot edit the team's information (name, VFC pin) and you cannot add Activation codes. A team can have multiple administrators, which all must be set up by the team owner.

  • Member

    As a member you can perform most day-to-day tasks such as uploading files, analyze data and completing troubleshooting records.

    You cannot edit any team information, invite new members, generate new locations or view deleted ones.
