Devices
To view and analyze data with LogTag® Online you need to link your account with one or more devices that can send data. The device can be a logger or interface cradle with built-in WiFi capability or any logger uploaded via such an interface.
You can view a list of your devices in the Devices screen by clicking the icon in the navigation bar.
The process of linking a device with your account is called Registering a device. Some loggers register automatically, but following devices must be registered manually with LogTag® Online:
-
UTRED30-WIFI
The UTRED30-WIFI is a real-time data logger designed to recorded temperature data in user-configurable intervals and send them to LogTag® Online.
In addition to being registered, this logger must also be attached to a location, otherwise no temperature data will be sent to LogTag® Online. -
LTI-WIFI
Using this LogTag® interface you can upload files directly to LogTag® Online from any non-USB LogTag® temperature or humidity logger (all of these loggers have three contact pins at the back of the case) without a PC or LogTag® LT Online.
-
LTI-WM-WIFI
Using this LogTag® interface you can upload files to LogTag® Online from any non-USB LogTag® temperature or humidity logger model and also send real-time temperature data from some of those models.
Following devices register automatically if they are uploaded via an interface that is registered to your account:
-
Any LogTag® temperature or humidity logger
To upload data from any of these loggers, first register one of the interfaces. After that, any logger you insert into the interface will be registered automatically.
To register a device, follow this simple procedure.

When files or real-time data are sent to LogTag® Online, these must only be shown to the 'owner' of the device, or approved team members. Registering a device creates a link between the account and the device, therefore allowing only the owner or the team to view its data.

If you have registered a UTRED30-WIFI logger, you also need to set up a location and attach the logger to this location. Please see Attaching loggers to locations.
If you have registered an interface and cannot see any files, the interface may already be registered to a different account.
